Binu Balakrishnan, holds a masters degree in Architecture from IIT Roorkee. Member of IIA and registered in COA, he worked as senior architect in Delhi, Cochin and Bangalore before starting his practice. He has extensive experience in designing and coordinating projects of wide range including institutions, hospitals, shopping malls, multi residential developments, educational institutions, industrial buildings, interiors etc.

A few selected projects during his previous work experience include;
- 6 underground stations for Delhi Metro including Connaught Place Station.
1000 bedded Medical college and residential facilities, Basaidarapur, Delhi.
- Mixed use development including a shopping mall and hotel at Puzhakkal, Thrissur.
- Multi residential developments in Cochin, Calicut, Tvm, Bangalore, Mohali, Mumbai
- 500 bedded Medical college, Rajajinagar, Bangalore
- Shopping malls at Trivandrum and Kottayam
- Super speciality hospital, Sanath nagar, Hyderabad - ESIC HQ at ITO, Delhi
